Who We Are

Our team is passionate about empowering young women with physical disabilities to live their fullest lives.

The idea for this learning community came from women who were frustrated with how hard it was to find information about their bodies—and parents who wanted to learn how to empower their daughters.

This learning community is the product of a lot of work and collaboration with young women with disabilities, parents, health care providers, and other “experts.” We are forever grateful to Jennifer Latham Robinson, a disability artist who also created the art and animations.

The team is led by Dr. Courtney Streur, together with Dr. John Wiener and Dr. Monica Rosen.
